Products that fit into daily rituals outperform products that demand new habits.

New habits are hard. Existing rituals are reliable. The most successful physical products find a place inside a ritual that already exists.
The morning ritual
A coffee maker does not need to teach someone to drink coffee. It needs to fit into the existing choreography of the morning.
Ritual as brief
A stronger brief describes what the product makes possible within the user's day.
